How does BioEnsure®  help crops under increasing stress conditions?

To get a true gage of how well BioEnsure®  behaves when put under a spectrum of stress conditions we compiled 15 varied field evaluations. These corn trials were comprised of controlled irrigation studies in 9  locations that were hot and dry. The combined field results are a telling metric of how well our fungal endophytes are tuned to help plants endure stress. The takeaway, BioEnsure® crop yields increase as stress levels increase.

 

​Does BioEnsure® still give yield boosts under low stress conditions?

We know BioEnsure® has the unique ability to perform remarkably well under high stress conditions, but performing under low stress conditions is also necessary. Growing seasons can vary considerably and we want growers to have comfort knowing their crops are secure no matter what Mother Nature throws at them. We compiled data from 327 different corn trials from 2014-2020 under low stress conditions to see what patterns emerged. Impressively, the average yield increased 4.9%, with a win rate of 70%.

A corn field trial in California where conditions were hot and dry and an unplanned irrigation loss occurred. Corn was collected at the same locations on opposite sides of the treatment line. Corn weights on the BioEnsure® treated side yielded a 275% difference over the Untreated side.

Building greater yield potential with BioEnsure® + BioTango™

We know BioEnsure® is great at boosting yields under low and high stress conditions, but our demanding researchers wanted more. We introduced BioTango™ to see if we could push the yields further, without sacrificing yield quality. We started rounds of what we call Synergy Testing and results show a solid increase in yields with both of these microbial treatments present.
